22 Days of Sign “☮” the Times - Day 7: Slow Love
The seventh track on the album, Slow Love is a ballad-style song on which Prince worked with the legendary Miles Davis to compose. Horns are played by Eric Leeds on sax and Atlanta Bliss on trumpet, as are all the songs on the album. Though not released as a single or B-side, Slow Love remains a well-known song among the Prince fan base. The song was performed in the 1987 Sign “☮” the Times concert film and also as part of a medley during the Lovesexy Tour the following year.
